Alternative to PANADOL for common aches and pains

I have never like popping panadol, even if i'm in pain unless it becomes extreamly unbarable. Like all medication, panadol if taken regularly over long period of time build up toxins in our liver that takes us years to detox. I come across an article from a friend's email that provides for alternative drug free pain relieve.

Looks harmless to me and surely better then popping pills. Give it a shot and lets see if it helps for you as well....

Get 1 or 2 cans of isotonic drink (eg.100PLUS), and mix it with drinking water according to a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 (simply, it means one cup 100plus, one cup water.or 2 cups water). Another method will be to submerge your feet in a basin of warm water so that it bring the blood pressure down from your throbbing head.

As Panadol is a pain killer, the more Panadol you take, the lesser would be your threshold for pain (your endurance level for pain). So, if we want to have effective use of Panadol when we REALLY need it, do avoid abusing it too quickly and try the alternative methods first.

Cheers to Good health!

PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR JUNIOR & GINNE

Hi All, Pls help look out for these 2 dogs (both are female), they are lost and owner desperately looking for them. If you have spotted them, pls hold on to them and call immediately at 9090-8592 (Jac). The remaining message is sent by the owner for the appeal.

Dear all

Last evening, we went around the neighbourhood where Junior and Ginne lived to speak with the neighbours and security guards with the hope that someone saw something on late Thursday night, that could give us some clue where Junior and Ginne are right now.

There are some pointers that just don't gel.

Junior and Ginne are very very familiar with their neighbourhood. Even when they wandered for a walk on their own before to the nearby park, each and every time, they have found their way back.

Last Thursday night, they simply disappeared without a trace.

If they had indeed gone for their regular walk on their own, they would have come back. It seemed to imply that someone might have taken them and driven them far away from their neighbourhood - but WHO? WHY? And so vital now - WHERE ARE THEY?? And to catch both of the dogs so easily? It just is not plausible, for they are not that friendly to strangers.

SPCA and AVA as of now has not picked up any dogs resembling Junior and Ginne. They also did not receive any animal nuisance complaint calls to that area that night. We have also made police reports.

PLEASE, THIS IS AN APPEAL, KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR JUNIOR & GINNE.

If you have friends or relatives staying at Jalan Selanting, please ask if they had seen or heard anything on late Thursday night. Looking at the scenario of things right now, they could be anywhere around our island. So even if you do not stay around Bukit Timah/Jurong Kechil area, please keep an eye out for them.

Thank you.

Help Breast Cancer...

Got this message from a friend...do assist them in their quest to help breast cancer patients....

The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an
underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle).

This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use he number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

Namaste

When I started Yoga, I have always wondered what is the meaning behind pressing of the hand together at the heart before and after classes and saying "Namaste". Curiosity led me to search for the meaning of "Nameste" and why put the hands together. Read it in a couple of sites that the meaning of pressing of hands together at the heart is to remember the gift of our life and also as a respect for each other's at soul and how we are all connected as one in this world.

Simply put, "Namaste" intimates the following:

'The God in me greets the God in you
The Spirit in me meets the same Spirit in you'

In other words, it recognizes the equality of all, and pays honor to the sacredness of all. It is pronouced as "Namastay".

So when we say "Nameste" next round, remember and treasure the gift of life God has blessed you and to respect every individual on earth....

Jackie up for adoption again....

Today, I received a news that the dog, Jackie, we rehomed few weeks back have been returned. We are lucky the adopter returned us the dog instead of dumping him on the streets like many heartless people would do. I am grateful for that. Though this owner was found to be appropriate to adopt jackie, I sensed that he may not be the right one but didn't quite have a very good reason to say NO to him. Anyway, the truth is out today and we are geared up once again to find a new loving home for Jackie. He is such a sweet and handsome puppy we know for sure we have no trouble finding him a new home.

To all future dog owners, think TRICE before committing to adopting or buying a pet. It is tramatising for a dog to be rehomed so many times, makes them insecure and some even get depressed as they do feel and know what is going on. Before committing to a pet, learn as much as you can from fellow pet owners to understand the responsibilities and committment before making that decision.

Today, let's all pray that our Jackie will find a new loving permanant family soon.
